online marketing is time consuming

Small businesses spend an average of 6 hours or more a week on social media

Right. Let’s cut to the chase.

You are a business owner. You understand the need for your company to be active online in order to stay ahead in the game. Sometimes, you feel like your survival depends on it.

BUT as it is, you’re already swamped with a million and one things to do even before your coffee is brewed in the morning.

Perhaps you’re not even quite sure how to kick start your online marketing strategy.

You’ve thought of hiring someone, but at $55K* a year, it seems a bit… ok a lot steep. Besides you don’t really need someone full time to do the ‘online stuff’ unless you’re Target or Coles.

So what can you do?

What if I told you I could help you do ‘the online stuff’ at a fraction of the cost of hiring a full time employee or maybe even an agency?

WEBSITE

  • Update your website content as and when necessary (new staff profile, event promotions, sale, important announcements, images, text, etc)
  • Do the graphic design for your web images
  • Regularly work on improving your website’s search engines ranking and visibility (SEO)
  • Keep files and plugins updated (if you use wordpress)
  • Back-up your website regularly (you can never be too careful nowadays can you?)

SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS (Facebook in particular)

  • Find and share relevant content to your fans & followers…regularly (at least 5 times a week, usually more)
  • Produce and share content (images, slides, videos, etc) that will promote your business or offers
  • Run monthly Facebook Ads for your business – do the ad copy, images and audience targeting
  • Respond to fan comments, reviews and escalate important issues to you
  • Interact with complimentary businesses to build brand awareness
  • Grow your fan base to increase your brand exposure online
  • Semi manage another social media account (i.e. Twitter, Instagram, Linked-in, etc.)

ELECTRONIC DIRECT MAIL

  • Set up a subscriber generating machine to help you build a loyal customer base
  • Manage and grow your email subscribers list
  • Do the graphics and help with copy writing for your newsletters
  • Send monthly newsletters to your customers informing them of events, new products or special offers, etc

In addition, I will regularly discuss and recommend different marketing strategies unique to your business that will improve your brand visibility and reach more customers.

I also monitor the performance of how things are going through analytics and you get a report every month.

You might say…”Wow, this looks like a lot of work” You are right. It actually is. In fact it is estimated that small businesses spend an average of 6 hours per week on social media, sometimes more (and that is just on social media).

There’s a lot you can do with the 6 hours.

Here’s an idea. Why not pass over those precious hours and focus on other important areas of your business or perhaps have a bit more relax time?

I’m confident that I can bring more exposure to your business and brand. But just don’t take my word for it. Hear this first hand from a client I just signed up with not too long ago in Dec 2015 and decide for yourself. 🙂
